Rumour and Red Alert

Rumour (and, I stress, it is but rumour that has come my way) has it that the powers-that-are in the Labour Party are thinking about canning "Red Alert". I can understand that thought, and have blogged before on the damage that it can, and sometimes does, do for Labour as ill-thought-through posts go viral.
